1. PP spunbond non-woven fabric has the characteristics of water resistance, breathability, flexibility, non combustible, non-toxic and non irritating, and rich colors. If the material is placed outdoors and naturally decomposed, its maximum lifespan is only 90 days. If it is placed indoors and decomposed within 5 years, it is non-toxic, odorless, and has no residual substances when burned, thus not polluting the environment. Therefore, environmental protection comes from this.
2. PP non-woven fabric has the characteristics of short process flow, fast production speed, high yield, low cost, wide use, and multiple raw material sources.
The PP non-woven fabric industry in China has developed rapidly, achieving rapid growth in production and sales, but there have also been some problems during the development process. The reasons for problems such as low mechanization rate and slow industrialization process are multifaceted. In addition to factors such as management system and marketing, weak technical strength and lack of basic research are the main obstacles. Although some production experience has been accumulated in recent years, it has not yet been theorized and it is difficult to guide mechanized production.
PP non-woven spunbond fabric is a non-toxic and odorless milky white high crystalline polymer, which is currently one of the lightest varieties of plastics. It is particularly stable to water and has a water absorption rate of only 0.01% after 14 hours in water. The molecular weight ranges from about 80000 to 150000, with good formability. However, due to the high shrinkage rate, the original wall products are prone to indentation, and the surface color of the products is good, making them easy to color.
Spunbond pp nonwoven fabric has high cleanliness, regular structure, and therefore has excellent mechanical properties. Its strength, hardness, and elasticity are higher than high-density PE. The prominent feature is strong resistance to bending fatigue, with a dry friction coefficient similar to nylon, but not as good as nylon under oil lubrication.
Spunbond pp nonwoven fabric has good heat resistance, with a melting point of 164-170 ℃. The product can be disinfected and sterilized at temperatures above 100 ℃. Under no external force, it does not deform even at 150 ℃. The embrittlement temperature is -35 ℃, and embrittlement occurs below -35 ℃, with lower heat resistance than PE.
Spunbond pp nonwoven fabric has excellent high-frequency insulation performance. Due to its almost no water absorption, its insulation performance is not affected by humidity, and it has a high dielectric coefficient. With the increase of temperature, it can be used to make heated electrical insulation products. The breakdown voltage is also very high, making it suitable for electrical accessories, etc. Good voltage resistance and arc resistance, but high static electricity and easy aging when in contact with copper.
Spunbond pp nonwoven fabric is very sensitive to ultraviolet rays. Adding zinc oxide thiopropionate lauric acid ester and carbon black like milk white fillers can improve its aging resistance.
