In order to encourage independent innovation of industrial textile and non-woven fabric enterprises, accelerate the pace of high-quality development of enterprises, improve the production level and product competitiveness of Guangdong non-woven fabric industry as a whole, and commend the exemplary organization in the industry in the application of basic research, technological invention, scientific and technological innovation, quality and efficiency improvement, and clean production, Guangdong Nonwoven Fabric Association has decided to carry out the selection of the “Fourth Technological Innovation Red Cotton Award” in the industry. This award will significantly enhance the reputation and visibility of the winning companies, support them in applying for project funding from various levels of departments, and connect and recommend high-level projects to apply for provincial and national science and technology awards.
The relevant matters regarding the election are hereby notified as follows:
Declaration scope
The non-woven fabric industry in Guangdong includes raw materials, rolls, product processing, trade, finishing agents, equipment manufacturing enterprises related to industrial textiles, as well as member units such as scientific research and testing institutions.
The enterprise is registered and established in Guangdong Province for more than three years; Be able to conscientiously implement the guidelines, policies, and regulations of the Party and the state, abide by laws and regulations, and pay taxes in accordance with the law; Having good business performance, social responsibility, and market reputation.
Conditions for candidacy
Units that meet one of the following conditions can apply for evaluation:
1. The production process route adopted is mature, the product quality is stable, the market share is large, and the enterprise has achieved significant economic benefits, ecological and environmental benefits, or the product market application prospects are broad.
2. Continuous technological transformation of production processes and equipment has achieved significant results in improving product quality, promoting product upgrading, strengthening comprehensive resource utilization, and enhancing enterprise economic efficiency.
3. Actively conducting applied basic research and independent innovation work, with innovative project technology concepts, significant product value enhancement, possessing independent intellectual property rights, or core technology obtaining relevant patent authorizations.
4. Products made using new materials and methods, processes and systems formed that meet the requirements of green ecology, energy conservation and environmental protection, clean production, or have formulated relevant standards with significant social benefits.
5. Actively participating in industry exchanges and interactions, providing suggestions and recommendations for industry development, promoting technological progress in the industry, or making significant contributions to science and technology cooperation with Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, as well as international science and technology cooperation.
Selection Procedure
1. The participating units shall fill out the “Application Form for the 4th Guangdong Non woven Fabric Industry Technology Innovation Cotton Award” and submit it together with the attachment to the Secretariat of the Association.
2. The Secretariat of the Association organizes expert review based on the materials submitted by enterprises.
3. The awarded excellent enterprises will be announced in the association’s journal, website and other media. And present the certificate and medal of the 4th Guangdong Non woven Fabric Industry Technology Innovation Red Cotton Award at the member conference.
4. Declaration time: All units are required to complete the “Application Form for the 4th Guangdong Non woven Fabric Industry Technology Innovation Cotton Award” (Attachment 2) before December 31, 2024, and submit it to the Secretariat of Guangdong Non woven Fabric Association by mail or email.
