The difference between laminating and laminating non-woven fabric processes

Non woven fabrics do not have other attachment processing techniques during production. In order to ensure the diversity and special functions of the materials required for the product, special processing techniques are applied to the raw materials of non-woven fabrics.

Different techniques have been developed based on different processing modes, resulting in varying effects.

Production process

It is a composite material that applies lotion adhesive on the surface of non-woven fabric wool embryo, and then through drying, high temperature treatment, cooling and other processes, combines the non-woven fabric embryo coated with adhesive and polyethylene film, so as to strengthen its waterproof, anti pollution performance and tensile strength.

Coated non-woven fabric

It is a professional machine that heats plastic rice into liquid, and then pours this plastic liquid onto one or both sides of non-woven fabric through the machine. One side of the machine has a drying system that can quickly dry and cool the poured plastic liquid layer, and finally produce coated non-woven fabric. It serves to enhance, thicken, prevent moisture, water, and oxidation.
The difference between non-woven film coating and laminating lies in the production technology and raw materials, and the basic principles of appearance and function of the produced products are the same.

Difference between film coating and film coating

1. Production process

The laminated non-woven fabric is produced by compounding the already produced PE film and non-woven fabric in high-temperature equipment.

Coated non-woven fabric uses equipment to melt plastic and spray it on the surface of non-woven fabric, which has the advantages of fast production speed and low cost.

2. Color and appearance

Laminated non-woven fabric is a composite product with superior smoothness and color compared to laminated non-woven fabric.

Coated non-woven fabric has obvious small holes on the surface due to the one-time molding of the film and non-woven fabric.

3. Aging rate

Pe film coated non-woven fabric is added with anti-aging agent before production, so anti-aging effect is better than coated non-woven fabric.

Coated non-woven fabrics have been produced, and the technical cost of adding anti-aging agent after plastic dissolution is too high. Generally, coated non-woven fabrics rarely add anti-aging agent, and aging speed is fast in the sun.

4. Physical properties

Coated non-woven fabric has good waterproof performance, tensile strength, and scratch resistance, but its breathability is relatively poor due to the presence of the coated film.

Coated non-woven fabric also has good waterproof performance and tensile strength, as well as better breathability and flexibility, making it easier to process into various shapes.

5. Thickness

The coating is relatively thick, usually between 25-50 microns in thickness.
