The difference between ultrafine fibers and elastic fabrics

From ancient times to the present, China has always been a major textile country. Our textile industry has always been in an important position, from the Silk Road to various economic and trade organizations. For many fabrics, due to their similarity, we can easily confuse them. Today, a microfiber non-woven fabric manufacturer will teach you the difference between microfiber and elastic fabric.

By definition

The definition of ultrafine fiber varies, also known as microfiber, fine denier fiber, ultra-fine fiber, and the English name microfiber. Generally, fibers with a fineness of 0.3 denier (diameter of 5 microns) or less are referred to as ultrafine fibers. A 0.00009 denier ultra-fine filament has been produced abroad, and if such a filament is pulled from Earth to the Moon, its weight will not exceed 5 grams. China is capable of producing ultrafine fibers with a denier of 0.13-0.3. The composition of ultrafine fibers mainly consists of two types: polyester and nylon polyester (usually 80% polyester, 20% nylon, and 100% polyester in China).

Elastic cloth, as the name suggests, is a stretchy fabric that is organized with ribbed patterns to give it greater elasticity. It is commonly used as an inner lining material for handbags and wallets, and can also be used for the collar and cuffs of T-shirts to achieve a better slimming effect.

In terms of usage characteristics

Ultra fine fibers have significant characteristics such as high water absorption, rapid water absorption, and rapid drying. Strong cleaning power: Micro fibers with a diameter of 0.4 μ m have a fineness of only 1/10 of real silk, and their special cross-section can capture more dust particles smaller than a few microns, resulting in significant cleaning and oil removal effects. C does not shed hair: Made of high-strength synthetic fibers that are not easily broken, and woven using precision weaving methods without pulling or shedding loops, the fibers are also not easily detached from the surface of the towel. Long lifespan: Due to the high strength and toughness of ultrafine fibers, their service life is more than four times that of ordinary towels. Easy to clean: When using ordinary towels, especially microfiber towels, dust, grease, dirt, etc. on the surface of the object to be wiped will be directly absorbed into the inside of the fibers, and will remain in the fibers after use, without fading: Its non fading advantage makes it completely free from discoloration and pollution when cleaning the surface of objects.

Elastic fabric: In terms of feel, elastic fabric is in front of other fabrics because it has elasticity; In terms of stretchability, there is no other material fabric that can be more elastic than stretch fabric, which is designed to increase the elasticity of a fabric. From a nursing perspective, it is very good. It is not easy to fold and can be easily done with just a gentle swipe. However, it does not feel burnt. There is also a method of using low-temperature steam ironing, otherwise it is prone to spoilage.

The above is the difference between ultrafine fibers and elastic fabrics, hoping to be helpful to everyone.

Dongguan Liansheng Non woven Technology Co., Ltd. was established in May 2020. It is a large-scale non-woven fabric production enterprise integrating research and development, production, and sales. It can produce various colors of PP spunbond non-woven fabrics with a width of less than 3.2 meters from 9 grams to 300 grams.
