SMS medical non-woven fabric

SMS non-woven fabric (English: Spunbond+Meltbloom+Spunbond Nonwoven) belongs to composite non-woven fabric, which is a composite product of spunbond and melt blown. It has the advantages of high strength, good filtration performance, no adhesive, and no toxicity. Mainly used for medical and health labor protection products such as surgical gowns, surgical hats, protective clothing, hand sanitizers, handbags, etc.

The characteristics of non-woven fabrics:

1. Lightweight: Made mainly from polypropylene resin, with a specific gravity of only 0.9, which is only three-fifths of cotton. It has fluffiness and a good hand feel.
2. Soft: Made of fine fibers (2-3D), it is formed by light spot hot melt bonding. The finished product has moderate softness and a comfortable feeling.
3. Water absorption and breathability: Polypropylene chips do not absorb water, have zero moisture content, and the finished product has good water absorption properties. It is composed of 100 fibers and has porous properties, good breathability, and is easy to keep the fabric dry and easy to wash
4. Non toxic and odorless, highly effective in isolating bacteria. Through special treatment of the equipment, it can achieve anti-static, alcohol resistant, plasma resistant, water repellent, and water producing properties.

Product application

(4) Industrial fabrics: filter materials, insulation materials, cement packaging bags, geotextiles, wrapping fabrics, etc;

(5) Agricultural fabrics: crop protection fabrics, seedling cultivation fabrics, irrigation fabrics, insulation curtains, etc;

(6) Environmentally friendly materials: Environmental sanitation products such as filter non-woven fabric, oil absorbent cloth, etc

(7) Insulation cloth: insulation materials and clothing accessories

(8) Anti down and anti fleece non-woven fabric

(9) Other: space cotton, insulation and sound insulation materials, etc.

Special treatment

Various special treatments are applied to non-woven fabrics to meet the various special performance requirements of customers. The processed non-woven fabric has anti alcohol, anti blood, and anti oil functions, mainly used in medical surgical gowns and surgical drapes.

Anti static treatment: Anti static non-woven fabrics are mainly used as materials for protective equipment with special environmental requirements for static electricity.

Water absorption treatment: Water absorbing non-woven fabrics are mainly used in the production of medical consumables, such as surgical drapes, surgical pads, etc.
